The Detroit News has posted a story about the Transformers filming taking place at the abandoned Michigan Central Train Station in southwest Detroit. Here is snippet from the story:
Director Michael Bay and the crew working on the $100 million-plus production of Transformers shot scenes with actor Shia LaBeouf inside the decaying station Tuesday. ClickOnDetroit.com has posted that extras are needed in Detroit to work on the Transformers movie. Paid extras needed for major motion picture Transformers. The movie is directed by Michael Bay with Steven Spielberg acting as executive producer. Extras 16 years of age & older are needed to work outside for the 2-day scene currently scheduled for the first week of Oct. 2006.
